In the Chenega Village, Aleut traditions were passed down from the Elders to the youth as part of daily life… Chenega Diaries: Stories and Voices of our Past, captures that time and aims to pass down the Chenega culture for generations to come.

We encourage educators to use Chenega Diaries in their classrooms. Click on the links to the left for lesson plans and classroom resources for middle and high school students. These lessons use Chenega Diaries book and DVD and are tied to Alaska state standards
